THE ESSENTIALS OF HONFLEUR

Discover Normandy from Honfleur, Land of Estuary

It is in a privileged setting, on the Côte Fleurie and the Seine estuary, that the heart of Honfleur beats, around its famous Old Harbour lined with narrow slate houses.

You will enjoy ambling in the pretty medieval town.

Along its cobbled streets you will discover old half-timbered houses and picturesque witnesses of its prestigious past.

The Garden of Personalities

As a family, there is no shortage of leisure ideas either... The Garden of Personalities (jardin des personnalités) offers lovely walks to share with your ‘tribe’ along the estuary and why not to the Naturospace where a very beautiful butterfly greenhouse awaits. Boat trips in the estuary to the Pont de Normandie also invite to pleasant moments with the family.

Saint Catherine's Church

The Lieutenancy, the Salt stores, theaters of many events or even its churches. Among them, the unusual Sainte-Catherine church with its astonishing separate upright wooden bell tower and its two naves with roofs made of upturned boat hulls.

Museums

Art lovers will push the door of the painting galleries and art workshops which continue the pictorial tradition initiated by illustrious painters such as Eugène Boudin or Claude Monet. They will also be able to visit the Eugène Boudin Museum, the Maisons Satie in homage to the musician Erik Satie, born here or the Museums of Old Honfleur which pay a beautiful tribute to the historic past of the maritime town.

Honfleur Normandy Outlet

Before leaving the port city, shopping fans won't be able to resist a short detour to the "Honfleur Normandy Outlet" designer village, an essential place to stock up on bargains, all year round.
